Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra announces 2022 AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration
INDIANAPOLIS—The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra invites you to share in the holiday magic at Hilbert Circle Theatre for the 36th annual AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration. Tickets will be available to the general public starting August 22, 2022. With 27 evening and matinee performances scheduled from December 2 through 23, 2022, there are many opportunities to hear your favorite holiday music and make lasting memories at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.

The 2022 AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration welcomes back host Frankie Moreno, whose wide-ranging talent flows seamlessly from upbeat rock to moving renditions of traditional Christmas songs. Moreno, a five-time winner of Vegas Headliner of the Year who first hosted AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration in 2019, is the perfect match for the high-energy production featuring tap-dancing Santas, the whimsical Holly Jolly Dollies, dazzling choreography, and stunning costumes. AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration Music Director Jack Everly lends his marvelous musical style and charisma to the stage as he leads the talented musicians of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra through audience favorites including “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “Believe” from The Polar Express, and many more.

This year, the incredibly gifted Moipei, comprising triplets Mary, Maggy, and Marta, will join the AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration cast of singers, dancers, and friends from the North Pole. The U.S.-based Moipei sisters began their musical career as children in their home country of Kenya and have since built an international reputation through their amazing harmonies and engaging performances. They have performed to sold-out audiences in Tanzania, Uganda, Canada, Venezuela, China, and the United States.
The holiday fun begins with the Christmas-themed lobby experience as soon as you step into the Hilbert Circle Theatre. Photo opportunities abound with the fully decorated Christmas tree, costumed characters, and carols performed on the mighty Wurlitzer organ. Be sure to leave room for cookies and hot chocolate!

Single tickets and subscriptions to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra are currently on sale. Patrons may become a new subscriber by visiting the ISO’s website or by phone at 317-639-4300, by mail, or in person at the Hilbert Circle Theatre Box Office. About Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly
Maestro Jack Everly has served as the ISO’s Principal Pops Conductor for 20 years and as the Music Director of the AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration, now entering its 36th year. Each year, he composes original music for the Yuletide performances, along with conducting familiar favorites. Throughout the season, whether he’s leading the ISO through memorable Broadway melodies for the Printing Partners Pops Series or Disney’s Hocus Pocus for the popular Film Series presented by Bank of America. Maestro Everly is beloved by fans for his musical expertise and charismatic personality. He has led the ISO in its first Pops recording, Yuletide Celebration, Volume One, that included three of his own orchestrations.
About Frankie Moreno
Singer, songwriter, musician, and headliner Frankie Moreno is entertaining audiences from coast to coast with his own brand of genre-blurring Rock ‘n Roll. Reaching millions of record sales worldwide, Frankie continues to write and release new music consistently. Since April 2020 alone, Frankie reached the #1 spot on the iTunes charts a record-setting 67 times with new singles. As a child prodigy on the piano, Frankie was first introduced to audiences at the age of 10 on CBS’ Star Search. His performance on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars again brought him into America’s living rooms with his self-penned hit “Tangerine Honey.” He has continued to perform sold-out shows from Carnegie Hall to The Kennedy Center, and The Hollywood Bowl to Las Vegas residencies.
About Moipei
The Moipei sisters—Mary, Maggy, and Marta—are from Nairobi, Kenya and currently reside in the United States. Their musical journey began in Kenya Music Festival competitions with their sister Serafina, where they earned first-place honors for four consecutive years. After a successful tour of South Korea, the sisters, at the age of 12, were appointed Kenya’s first ever UNICEF Child Ambassadors. Since then, their success has enabled them to showcase their talents around the world. Their album In the Land of the Lion, won the 2011 Best of Africa category, at the prestigious South Africa Broadcasting Corporation Awards.
