The Big Note

The Big Note is the story of a young boy’s search through a symphony orchestra to find a big note he hears at a concert. The Big Note introduces the flute, violin, viola, bassoon, and tuba. These five instruments are part of the string, woodwind, and brass sections of the symphony orchestra. Musical selections include excerpts from Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee, Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 – Ode to Joy
