Jessica Andrews, Juliet
Jess is thrilled to be working with the ISO. Recent credits include South Coast Rep, KCRep, Unicorn Theatre, Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, Coterie Theatre, KCAT, and Great River Shakespeare Festival. Jess received her MFA in acting from UMKC.
Heidi Armbruster, Capulet
New York premieres: Time Stands Still (Broadway), Disgraced (Lincoln Center), Lewiston/Clarkston (Rattlestick), Man from Nebraska (Second Stage), Poor Behavior (Primary Stages), Boy (Keen Company), Dov and Ali (Playwrights Realm), The Fifth Column (The Mint), and Sea of Tranquility (The Atlantic). Drama League Nomination for Tea and Sympathy (Keen Company). World premieres: Wife of a Salesman (Milwaukee Rep), Queens for a Year (Hartford Stage), At the Old Place (The Old Globe), and The Great Gatsby (The Guthrie). Benjamin Bonenfant, Mercutio
Based in New York where his credits include Theatre For A New Audience (Julius Caesar) and the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival (Heart of Robin Hood and Richard II), he most recently appeared as Henry V at Orlando Shakes, Romeo at Great Lakes Theater, and Macbeth at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Other regional credits include 2 seasons at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (Mary Zimmerman’s The Odyssey, Great Expectations, Hamlet, and Julius Caesar), 3 seasons at Orlando Shakes (Henry IV & V and The Three Musketeers), and 5 seasons at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival (Henry V, Prince Hal, Romeo, among others). Other Colorado credits: Denver Center, Arvada Center, TheatreWorks, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Butterfly Effect Theatre Company, Curious Theatre, and Local Theater. Film/TV: “Law & Order” (NBC); “The Good Fight” and “Bull” (CBS). He has a BA in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Jaddy Ciucci, Benvolio
Jaddy Ciucci is so grateful to be back home in Indianapolis and touching Shakespeare text again. Jaddy has had the honor to perform across Indianapolis stages with inspiring artists. Some favorite local roles include Touchstone (As You Like It – with Indy Shakes! Come see us this summer), Berenice (Cabaret Poe), Little Red Riding Hood (Into The Woods), Romeo (Romeo and Juliet), Jessica (Hand To God), and Helena Landless (The Mystery of Edwin Drood). Jaddy has also worked as a teaching artist with React Kids (formerly YAT) and Indiana Repertory Theatre. Always, always, my love to Scott Russell, Bastian, and Howell. My Everything.
Adam O. Crowe, Friar
Adam is over the moon to have the opportunity to appear with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Adam has appeared on Indianapolis stages for over 30 years. A graduate of Wabash College, he has performed at Indiana Repertory Theatre, Phoenix Theatre, Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre, The Fonseca Theatre, and many others. He sends his special gratitude to the audiences that continue to support the arts in Central Indiana. “Your continued presence and support are crucial to keeping Indianapolis a vital home for performers of all kinds.”
Paul Deo, Jr., Romeo
Paulie is a native New Orleanian and nomadic actor. He received his BA in acting from Wesleyan University and his MFA from NYU-TISCH. Recent credits include Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Much Ado About Nothing and Arizona Theatre Company’s The Glass Menagerie.
Daniel Martin, Tybalt
Daniel is ecstatic to be making his ISO deput in this production of Romeo and Juliet. Recent credits include Skeleton Crew (Summit Theatre), Magnolia Ballet (Phoenix Theatre), Midsummer Night’s Dream (Indianapolis Shakespeare Company), and Upon This Rock (UTR Production). When not on stage, Daniel has been featured in many commercials (Longhorn Steakhouse, QuitNow Kentucky, Hamilton Recycle), social media ads (LASIK, iDirect Technology, Mac Tools), and corporate training videos (Cummins Health Pro and IU Health Indiana). Daniel also has an acting credit in the horror movie The Night of the Unspeakable. When not performing, Daniel spends his time teaching at different schools and theaters.
Lisa Tejero, Nurse/Prince
The first Lookingglass show that Lisa saw was West directed by David Catlin and she remembers thinking, “Yep, those are the kind of theatrical boundaries I want to push.” A few years later, Mary Zimmerman cast her in the production of S/M. Subsequent shows with the company have been: Metamorphoses, 1984, The Curiosity Shop, Argonautika, Fedra: Queen of Haiti, and Ethan Frome. She was invited to join the company in 2006 and has been a proud Artistic Associate ever since. She appeared as Vivian Bearing in The Hypocrites production of Wit, and played Lady Bracknell in Iowa City, then appeared in Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s Shakespeare in the Parks production of Romeo & Juliet. Locally, some of Lisa’s shows include: White Snake, Stop/Reset, Ghostwritten, Silk, The Odyssey, As You Like It (Goodman Theatre); Kafka on the Shore (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); Defiant Muse, Lemuel, View of the Dome (Victory Gardens Theater). Regional Theatres she has worked with include: Guthrie Theater, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, McCarter Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Arena Stage and Huntington Theatre Company. Broadway and off-Broadway credits include a run of Metamorphoses. She matriculated at Webster University’s Theatre Conservatory where she earned her BFA.
